More nail polish? Why yes!

It's been a really long time since I bought some nail polish...if you've been following me for awhile I have an addiction. I love buying polish and my collection keeps growing--I need to build myself a nail polish rack soon because I have no more room in my big shoe box!

I love shimmers and glitters!! And of course my favorite color GREEN!! The smoke and ashes have a little green shimmer in it. And of course the best top coat Seche Vite!

DIY clay mask

My mom told me about Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay (I think she read it on some Korean forum) and how it's great for troubled and oily skin. So I had to do some research for myself because even though it's my mama I don't want to go by her words only and spend money on something I've never heard of. I've read so many reviews on Amazon and majority of them are all positive reviews. People rave about this stuff and why am I only hearing about it now? Some people say they used it on poison ivy, eczema, zits, blackheads, large pores, bruises, chigger and bug bites. Mostly people with acne proned skin and oily skin says they love it and can't live without it. So out of curiosity I went out to Whole Foods and bought it along with Organic Apple Cider Vinegar because you have to mix equal parts together. You can also buy it on Amazon.

(taken from their website)
Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay is bentonite clay from Death Valley, California, where it is sun-ddried for up to six months in temperatures that sometimes reach 134 degrees.

Clays have been used for centuries to beautify and refresh when used as a facial mask. Cleopatra used clay from the Nile river and the Arabian desert over 1800 years ago, as part of her beauty ritual. German and Roman spas have been using clay packs and treatments in the spas they built 4,000 years ago. Many of these spas still exist and use clay even today. Pliney the Elder devoted an entire chapter of his Natural History to the many uses of clay for pimples, black heads and skin tightening. Many famous naturopaths, such as Kuhn, Just and Kneipp have contributed to the revival of the uses of clay through their natural treatments for arthritus and skin alignments. The use of clay with apple cider vinegar can be dated back to the southern French priest of the 16th century, Kneipp, and his natural treatments using clay packs and poultices. Throughout the history the used of clay, specifically green clay or bentonite, is well documented.

So the directions says to mix equal parts with the powder and apple cider vinegar and to apply it evenly to the face. Use a non-metal bowl and utensil. Stir the mixture into a smooth paste. Add more clay or liquid as needed. Let it dry for 5-10 mins for delicate skin and 15-20 mins for normal skin. You will feel a pulling and tightening sensation. Feel your face pulsate! Remove clay by washing with warm water. Slight redness of the skin is normal and will disappear in about 30 minutes. Afterwards I applied vitamin E oil and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes and then took a washcloth and ran it under hot water, squeezed out all the water and then laid it over my face to let the oil sink into my skin. I repeat that about 3-4 times and wipe away any excess oil.

After trying this only once I can definitely see a difference. My skin feels and looks smoother. Also since it's a deep pore cleansing mask it will pull up all the bacteria deep down in your pores so if you break out from this don't stop using it. It's only temporary and will go away. I can't wait to do it again.

My February Instagram

Just a quick update on the month of February in Instagram.
I am addicted to IG~!! I've been doing a lot of their monthly photo a day challenges because I've been slacking on picture updates so this way I can upload a new pic everyday. I've neglected FB (well fb is so boring now I rarely check it), Twitter, and my blog because IG has taken over my life haha.
I've also been downloading so many photo apps so I can get better at editing pictures on my iPhone. My March Instagram update should look a lot better :)

[haul] walgreens//target//homegoods

It's day 4 since I got 3 of my wisdom teeth pulled and I've been doing nothing but staying home and wishing I could eat that and that and that. *sigh* I'm such a fatty! My girlfriend made me some vietnamese porridge the other day so I've been eating that the past 2 days. So yummy!

I've also been eating some Godiva Chocolate my mama gave me for valentine's day :p I don't really eat a lot of candy but I have such a weakness for chocolate and it has to be GOOD chocolate.
I think everything's healing pretty well so far so hopefully I can start eating real food again--real soon!!

After staying home all day yesterday I stepped out today to run some errands. I had to go to the bank, post office to ship out a surprise package for a friend (shhh can't say the name because I'm surprising her hehe) and needed some cotton pads. I stopped by walgreens and picked up some Sinful Colors nail polish and EOS lip balms.

I've never used either but the Sinful Colors nail polish are $1.99 so I just picked up couple to try out. Also the EOS lip balms are 2/$6 so just grabbed two. I always wanted to try the lip balms because people rave about how good this thing is. I haven't tried it out yet but when I do I'll let you guys know what I think. I tried out one of the nail polish "happy ending" and for the price it's not bad! It's a little watery so I had to do 3 coats to make it opaque but the colors great and it just gives me more reasons to go out and get more! :)

Next I went to Target to pick up cotton pads and just walked around to browse a little. I picked up this cute 2 pieces yellow waffle towels (I'm going to take it to my bf's and hang it up on the oven handle hehe), 6 ELF   false lashes (they're only $1 each), 2 Mossimo tops and a NYC liquid lip shine.

Color: Nude York City
I already own one that I received from Influenster  in the last VoxBox that I got and I love this lip gloss. It's sheer so there's only a tiny bit of color that goes on, it smells great, and it's not too sticky.

The top doesn't look too pretty on the hanger but I promise you that it's actually cute when you wear it. Stripes always catches my eye and I love this color so I tried it on and it fits pretty well. I picked a Large because I wanted it to be a loose fit and it doesn't look extremely big on me. It's thin and a little sheer so you can wear a tank top underneath but it's great for the spring.

I love grey/white stripes so had to get it in this color too :)

Before I headed to the Post Office I stopped by HomeGoods and I love that store. You can find great things for amazing price there. I really didn't need anything when I walked in but just browsed around and I walked out with 2 items. I saw this cute little mini note set in a tiny paint can container and had to get it. I love getting stationaries there.

I would say the cards are probably like 3x3. So cute!

I also picked up this zebra print organizer thing.

How cute is that? I love it! My nightstand next to my bed is always so messy with papers and bills so now I can organize them in this!

Whew! This is a long post haha. But I am doing more posts YAY! I hope I can keep this up so you guys have something to read when your bored :p Well I am exhausted and need to go rest my eyes now. Goodnight and love you guys <3

Creation Recreation

I am obsessed with shoes--a girl can never have enough shoes! I would love to have a closet full of shoes like Mariah Carey or any other big celebrities out there but I can't. I can slowly start my way up hoping one day I can have a closet full of them hehe :) You know how they say accessories can put an oufit together? Well so can shoes that's why I try to have different varieties in color, shape, and material. I use to be such a club whore so I would go out and buy heels all the time but now that I retired I don't really wear them as much. I think I actually forgot how to walk in them haha. It's been all about comfort for me lately so I've been just looking at sneakers. One day I went over to my big bro's place and noticed a pair of shoes while I was taking off mine. I fell in love with them right away and had to get a pair. I've never heard of the brand before--Creation Recreation. But I mentioned to him how I like his shoes and asked him where he got them. So he asked if I wanted a pair and I said "YES" right away and he offered to get it for me. What an awesome bro I have!
He originally bought me the GS CESARIO SHINY HERRINGBONE SMOKE in kids size but it was a little tight so I sent it back to exchange it for a different size.

Well they sold out of the size that I needed so I had to pick a different one and it took me a while to pick a different one because I didn't want a different style and I really liked the colors on this one. But after looking at the kids section on the past styles for a good 5 minutes I decided to go with The Grade School Cesario Charcoal--a black and blue one.

The style is a little different from the first one but I actually like this one better. I received it the other day and tried it on and I love it! The colors are dark but I think I can wear it with a lot of outfits.

They're a 5.5 in kids :) Yeah I have small feet hehe.

Thank You Big Bro <3

My very first JewelMint Item

I've been seeing A LOT of posts and giveaways on JewelMint items and I wasn't really completely impressed at first because I'm not a HUGE jewelry person. I only like stud earrings and rarely ever wear necklaces but I do love bracelets and rings. I haven't bought jewelry in a long time and I've been really into purchasing rings again. This is one of my favorites at the moment.....

....and guess where it's from? Forever 21. So for like $5 you can go get yourself this gorgeous ring. I also bought another ring similar to this one from F21 but haven't worn it yet. When I do I'll post up a picture.

So about 2 weeks ago I received an e-mail to receive 60% or was it 70% I forget but I was able to get more than 50% off for my first purchase! How can I let this amazing deal go? Original price for a JewelMint item $29.99--I just couldn't get myself to pay that amount so when I received this e-mail I was pretty excited to be able to make my very first purchase with them. I couldn't decide between these two rings but I went with the YVES RINGS.

How cute is this?? I also fell in love because of what each ring symbolizes.
"Our mixed oxidized brass and silver rings each symbolize the lock of love, the keys to your heart, and the keyhole on the door to your dreams. These treasures, whether worn stacked or individually, unlock your style potential. This ring is not adjustable."

Overall I was happy with my purchase and will probably buy something else from them in the future. I have my eyes on the moonbeam ring at the moment :)
